Cloudmark Professional Services deploys Cloudmark security software throughout the world within fixed-line and mobile operators.
 
The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience working for ISVs or Mobile Infrastructure Vendors, managing the deployment of complex carrier-grade solutions in often challenging environments. They will be comfortable working in multi-language and multi-cultural environments and across timezones, often managing a project remotely (from the customer location).
 
Preferred location - Boston, Massachusetts

Responsibilities
  • Manage the deployment of Cloudmark data applications in fixed or mobile operators networks
  • Direct and manage project development from beginning to end
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders 
in a timely and clear fashion
  • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
  • Draft budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes 
where necessary to the appropriate manager
  • Where required, negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of 
required personnel from within the company
  • Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and request the appropriate recruitment if necessary during project cycle
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
  • Track project milestones and deliverables
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation
and presentations
  • Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, 
analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crisis points, and devise contingency plans
  • Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
  • Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
  • Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project
  • Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution


Qualifications
Experience:

  • Suitable degree or 6+ years of equivalent work experience
  • Progressive experience in service delivery within a software environment
  • Proven experience in the implementation of carrier-grade Telecommunications software (especially in the ISV/mobile network environment)
  • Expert level experience in project management skills with a track record of successful project execution and delivery
  • Strong leadership qualities, able to think creatively and proactively
  • Ability to manage technology projects from concept stage to successful delivery
  • Exceptional negotiation, influencing and business relationship management skills
  • Expert level experience and commitment to achieving successful quality delivery within agreed times frames and budget
  • Experience with Steering Committee presentation and reporting
  • Proven experience and expert skills in creating accurate statements of work (SOWs).
  • Ability to work in a matrix management environment and communicate effectively at all levels including internal/external clients
  • Expert level communication skills with effective writing skills and expert level presentation skills.
  • Project Management accreditation and involvement in the wider PM community a plus factor
  • Fluent in English and Korean language
  • Able to travel within the US and internationally as required

Highly Desirable:
  • Bachelor's degree in datacoms/telecoms or equivalent
  • Experience in implementing ISV/mobile data applications
  • Previous experience with systems integrators
  • Experience working with remote multicultural multi skilled internal teams and customers
  • Broad understanding of WAN network infrastructure and protocols
