Cloudmark is looking for a Software Test Engineer with first-rate technical skills to deliver bad news to web developers. Your responsibilities will include:
·To find, isolate, and report bugs
·To work with developers to help identify problems in the design and architecture of products.
·To explain issues found and participate in exploratory testing to identify the pros and cons of proposed fixes.
·To plan testing and deliver estimates
·To build and manage multi-platform test environments, including backend systems
Being able to administer LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) systems is a non-negotiable requirement for this job.

Qualifications – Required
·3+ years of professional experience in software testing, web development, or web security
·Ability to administer Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP (LAMP)
·Ability to write SQL queries
·Understanding of the fundamentals of computer science
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications – Preferred
·Programming experience with Perl, Python, or Ruby on Rails
·Experience automating web application testing
·Ability to administer Sendmail and/or other Unix MTAs
·A bachelors or masters degree in science or engineering
